The State of Play

Since its humble beginnings serving rural, remote and regional Australian communities, Melbourne-based Activ8me has grown into Australia’s largest satellite Internet provider, while remaining an acknowledged expert in rural and remote communications technology.

The Objective

Operating in a highly-saturated marketplace, Activ8me had a need to increase awareness surrounding its diverse array of services – ultimately increasing internet sign-ups. To achieve this, Yoke was engaged to research, propose and implement a digital marketing strategy, incorporating SEO, paid search and display.

The Result

Informed by analytics and behavioural insights, the strategy’s SEO, SEM and targeted use of display programmatic greatly enhanced the effectiveness of Activ8me’s digital presence. This was measured through the 47% increase in sessions from organic search, 22% increase in the average session duration, as well as the 44% increase in new users to the website. The implementation of the refreshed paid search campaigns saw a 4% increase in click-through rates, additionally prompting an 8% reduction in the average CPC. Measurement through monthly reports has allowed Activ8me and Yoke to continue to assess and evolve strategies over time to meet new targets.
